من جانبه أكد وكيل أعمال محمد فوزي، أن اللاعب سيرتدي قميص فريق بني ياس الموسم المقبل على الرغم من أن اللاعب لم يوقع بصورة رسمية على عقد انضمامه إلى النادي (كما قال)، مشيرا إلى أن فوزي اطلع على تفاصيل العرض المقدم له ووافق عليه، مضيفا: لكن رغم ذلك أؤكد أن اللاعب سينضم إلى «السماوي».

دخل نادي بني ياس في مفاوضات جادة مع وليد سالم حارس مرمى العين والمنتخب الوطني وذلك لضمه لصفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي بداية من الموسم المقبل اللاعب أبدى موافقته المبدئية على العرض السماوي خصوصا وان عقده مع الزعيم انتهى بنهاية الموسم المنقضي.

ومن المقرر أن يتم حسم انتقال اللاعب من عدمه خلال الأيام المقبلة في ظل التفاوض على المقابل المادي الذي سيحصل سالم عليه ويعتبر سالم مكسبا كبيرا للسماوي في حال إتمام الصفقة نظرا للخبرة الكبيرة التي يتمتع بها اللاعب.

يصل الأسبوع المقبل خبير من أوروبا للإشراف على فرق المراحل السنية بنادي بني ياس.
وكان مجلس إدارة النادي قد اعتمد خطة معسكرات فرق النادي للموسم الجديد، وخطة ثقافية للفريق الأول تشتمل على تثقيف اللاعبين في التغذية والمنشطات والتحكيم وضوابط الاحتراف والطب الرياضي والوقاية من الإصابات وكيفية التعامل مع وسائل الإعلام، في اجتماعه الختامي لموسم 2009 -2010 أمس الأول في مقر النادي في الشامخة برئاسة العميد مطر حمد المهيري رئيس مجلس الإدارة.
وتقدم المهيري نيابة عن أعضاء المجلس بالشكر والامتنان إلى الفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير الداخلية، رئيس نادي بني ياس الرياضي، وسمو الشيخ حامد بن زايد آل نهيان النائب الأول لرئيس النادي، وسمو الشيخ عمر بن زايد آل نهيان، النائب الثاني لرئيس النادي، على الدعم اللامحدود لكافة الرياضات في النادي وهو ما كان له كبير الأثر في تحقيق إنجازات خلال الموسم 2009 -2010. وناقش الاجتماع الذي حضره سيف عبيد الخيلي نائب رئيس مجلس الادارة، وأعضاء المجلس، محمد غانم المنصوري، عبدالرحمن الصيعري، د.أحمد حسن العوضي، سهيل العامري، طارق عرفان، ممثل شركة بني ياس للتطوير، نضال أبو روزا، المدير التنفيذي للنادي، تطوير المراحل السنية وتقرير الالعاب الفردية والجماعية، ومـا تم تحقيقـه فـي الألعاب التـي أدرجها النادي في مـوسـم 2009- 2010 (سلاح المبارزة – الكرة الطائرة – كرة اليد – ألعاب القوى – الألعاب النسائية والتنس).
وتم التصديق على الموازنة الختامية للموسم 2009 – 2010، واعتماد تقرير اللجنة الفنية بإنهاء التعاقد مع بعض اللاعبين، كما تمت مراجعة الموازنة المقترحة للموسم 2010 – 2011 استعداداً لعرضها على سمو رئيس النادي.
وتميز الاجتماع بالتفاعل من قبل أعضاء المجلس من خلال إبداء الرأي وتقديم الاقتراحات لتدعيم كافة الرياضات في النادي حتى يحتل مراكز متقدمة في المرحلة المقبلة.
