Baniyas lost against Al-Nassr, 1-0, in the match that brought together the two teams today at Al Maktoum Stadium for the 15th round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Baniyas entered the first half strongly and managed to score the lead goal through Youssoufou Niakaté , but VAR intervened and prevented the goal due to an offside situation.

Minutes later, Al-Nasr managed to score the lead goal in the 24th minute through Iuri Medeiros.

In the second half, coach Darko Milanic brought in his substitutes, seeking to adjust the result after he brought on Ahmed Shehda, Prestige Mboungou , and Issa Al-Mazmi, but the second half did not witness any change in the result, so the match ended with the home team winning 1-0.

With this loss, Baniyas’ score stopped at point 16, while Al-Nasr’s score rose to 21 points.
