For the 14th round of the ADNOC Pro League, Bani Yas achieved a valuable victory over its host Al Jazira with a score of 1-0, in the match that was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The only goal of the match was scored by Serbian player Lazar Markovic in the 12th minute, after a quick counterattack.

In the first half, Bani Yas entered the atmosphere of the match quickly and managed to score the first goal through Serbian Markovic after a quick counterattack led by Youssoufou Niakaté who was alone with goalkeeper Ali Khaseif and passed the ball to his Serbian teammate who in turn put the ball in the net announcing the Sky Blues' lead with the first goal.

The first half did not witness many attempts from either side, so the first half ended with the guests leading by one goal to nothing.

In the second half, Bani Yas entered with the aim of maintaining the result and was able to organize its defensive ranks strongly, which prevented all attempts by Al Jazira to return and achieve a tie, so the match ended with a valuable victory for Bani Yas with a score of 1-0.

With this victory, Bani Yas raised its score to 15 points to occupy the eleventh place in the standings, while Al Jazira's score froze at 21 points in the sixth place.

It is worth noting that this victory is the second for Bani Yas over Al Jazira this season, as it previously defeated it in the first leg with a score of 2-0
