Baniyas Club will depart today due to the volleyball team's participation in the Arab Clubs Tournament for men category that’s held in Egypt, starting on February 17th till February 28th.

Baniyas Club represents the UAE in group No.3 in the tournament alongside The Iraqi Club Ghaz Al Junoob, the Jordanian club Wadi Musa, the Omani club Al Salam and the Egyptian club Al Zamalek.

The delegation departs on Monday, February 17th where it consists of Salem Nayef Al Kathiri, Head of the Delegation, Riyadh Al Minhali, Game Director, Eissa Abdullah, Team Manager, Ali Hamed, Team Specialist, Mohamed Al Laqany, The Coach, Bojan, Coach Assistant, and Ahmed Samir, The Team’s Physician.

The volleyball squad players are: Hassan Majed, Hassan Al-Attas, Rashid Ayoub, Hani Al-Sai’ari, Mubarak Al-Zaabi, Awad Salem, Saif Ali, Mubarak Al-Mansoori, Abdullah Bamabed, Khaled Mahmoud, Hamad Al-Amri, Omar Abdullah, Ali Al-Hammadi, Saleh Fathi Warasan, Wartim and Samuel.

Head of the delegates, Salem Nayef Al Katheeri, emphasized that the participation of Al Samawi in the tournament aims to let the team and the players gain experience and to be in contact with the other participated teams, also to present an honorable representation of the game of volleyball in the UAE, pointing out that Baniyas players are aware of the importance of their participation and what benefits they could get from the tournament.
