Today, Baniyas Club honored more than a hundred doctors and volunteers in the visit made by the club’s delegation to the portable hospitals at the exhibition center. The visit aimed to support the first front-line workers who face the Coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) which was under the umbrella of the community initiatives that the club has launched to empower the power of the society in facing the current challenges.

The delegation was headed by His Excellency Mohammed Suhail Al Kathiri, member of the Board and Head of Community Initiatives, as well as a large group of the club’s employees who were briefed on the work progress inside the hospitals mentioning the great efforts and achievements made by the medical staff in facing the disease being interpreted in reality.

Al Kathiri assured that the front-line workers set the most wonderful examples in dedication and hard work, also, they showed the huge support that they got from the wise leadership that considered the human being’s health as a top priority, sending many thanks to all the medical staff and volunteers on their countless efforts that they were and still making it, expressing his and the citizens’ happiness with the accomplishments in facing the epidemic.

In addition to the delegation’s visit, Salem Nayef Al Kathiri, CEO of the Sports Games Company, Mr. Ahmed Al Abdouli, CEO of the Exhibition Center, Mr. Ibrahim Al Reyami, Operations Manager of the Portable Hospitals at Exhibition Center, Salem Sultan Al Suwaidi, Abu Dhabi Center Manager, and Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Manager of Baniyas Health Center (Seha Center).

The portable hospitals contain approximately 1000 beds equipped with the latest global medical technologies available, where the visit witnessed an explanation from the doctors about examination mechanisms and its arrangements, where it came out with great impressions on the level of care that is provided by the portable hospitals.

The visit witnessed that Baniyas Club delegation honored more than a hundred doctors and volunteers, as the club called all the society members to be together with the medical and health organizations and support their efforts to protect the health of citizens and residents.

In turn, the medical and health staff expressed their happiness towards Baniyas Club initiative that gave them a huge boost in order to work and dedicate themselves to get rid of the global epidemic. Emphasizing that the UAE sons set the most wonderful examples in facing the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and its repercussions, assuring their confidence and the best is yet to come by cooperation spirit between all members of society.
