Abu Dhabi – Baniyas Club played out a 1–1 draw against Al Bataeh Club in their Round 13 fixture of the ADNOC Pro League, held at Baniyas Stadium.
The match began in a balanced manner, with both sides exchanging attacking attempts and competing for control of the midfield. Baniyas managed to break the deadlock in the first half, as Youssouf Niakate opened the scoring in the 39th minute, finishing a well-constructed attacking move inside the penalty area to give the Sky Blues the lead. The first half ended with Baniyas ahead 1–0.
In the second half, Baniyas continued to show a competitive performance and looked to extend their advantage, while Al Bataeh increased their attacking pressure in search of an equaliser. Deep into stoppage time, the visitors found the equalising goal in the 90+6 minute through Anatole Bertrand Abang, resulting in a late setback for the home side.
Despite conceding in the final moments, Baniyas delivered a committed and disciplined display throughout the match, reflecting the team’s fighting spirit and tactical organisation.
