Baniyas Club players achieved 18 medals in the Al-Thiqa Championship for Arab Fencing Clubs for the open category and under 20 years for men and women, which was held in the Emirate of Sharjah for three days.

The final day witnessed the brilliance of the Baniyas players, who won nine medals in the team competitions, and the medals were as follows:

1- First place and gold medal for women's fencing squads (Dima Fathi / Noura Al-Buraiki / Fatima Al-Kaabi / Shamma Al-Abri)

2- First place and gold medal for the women's weapon teams (Laila Al-Saiari/Sabina/Saba Othman/Iman Belkhair)

3- First place and gold medal for the fencing teams of youth under 20 years old (Masoud Al Muhairi / Hamdan Al Jahdami / Salah El Din Ihab / Abdullah Muhammad)

4- Second place and the silver medal for the men’s fencing squads (Khaled Al-Marzouki/Abdul Rahman Fathi/Hamad Al-Jallaf/Issa Al-Zarouni)

5- Second place and silver medal for men’s sword fencing teams (Abdullah Al Hammadi/ Khalifa Al Zarooni/ Salah Al Din Ihab/ Masoud Al Muhairi)

6- The second place and the silver medal for the youth armoury teams under 20 years old (Issa Al Zarooni / Khalifa Al Kaabi / Hamdan Al Jahdami / Masoud Al Muhairi)

7- The third place and the bronze medal for the Sheesh Weapon Teams for girls under 20 years old (Dima Fathi / Noura Al Braiki / Azza Al Kaabi / Shamma Al Abri).

8- Third place and bronze medal for Al-Saif youth teams under 20 years old (Khaled Al-Amri/Ali Al-Mansoori/Sultan Al-Abri/Khalifa Al-Kaabi)

9- Third place and bronze medal for men's sword weapon teams (Khalifa Al-Abri / Thani Al-Abri / Sultan Al-Abri / Abdul Rahim Al-Khayari)
