Baniyas fencing players take a part in the Arab Open Fencing Championship which takes place in Kuwait, where they will represent the Emirates national fencing team which consists of ten players in the category of men and women

It is worth mentioning that the Baniyas players represent fifty percent of the UAE national team, where there are five players, Abdullah Al Hammadi, Khalifa Al Zarouni, Hamad Jaafar, Khalifa Al Abri in the men's category and Noura Al Buraiki in the women's category.

The championship lasts for five days, as it begins on the 20th of December and ends on the 25th of the same month
