A 2-2 positive draw took place in Emirates match against its guest Baniyas, as part of the match that was held for the 22nd round of the ADNOC Professional League.

Al Samawi opened the scoring early, Nicolas Gimenez scored for Baniyas, in the 5th minute, through a penalty kick committed by Ahmed Rabie.

The Home team equalized through defender Ali Mustafa from a header in the 28th minute.

Minutes later, Walid Sabbar added the second goal in the 33rd minute for Emirates, and the first half ended with the home team advancing with two goals to one.

In the second half, Baniyas equalized the score through Ahmed Shehda in the 76th minute, after he took advantage of a superb pass from his colleague Nicolas Gimenez to successfully score the second goal for Al Samawi.

The match ended in a positive tie with two goals for both teams, bringing Baniyas his score to 30 points in the league standings.
