Baniyas were held to a 1-1 draw against Sharjah in their Round 22 clash of the ADNOC Pro League, played at Baniyas Stadium.

The visitors made a strong start to the match, taking an early lead after capitalizing on a well-constructed attacking move in the opening minutes.

Baniyas gradually grew into the game, regaining control and applying pressure on Sharjah’s defense, particularly at the start of the second half.

Their efforts paid off in the 51st minute, when a dangerous cross was turned into the net by a Sharjah defender for an own goal, bringing the match back to level terms.

Both sides pushed forward in search of a winning goal during the remaining minutes, but solid defensive organization and tactical discipline ensured the score remained unchanged.
