Baniyas secured an important 2-0 victory over Al Wasl in their postponed Round 16 match of the ADNOC Pro League, held at Baniyas Stadium.

The Sky Blues entered the match determined to achieve a positive result and managed to impose their style of play from the early minutes, benefiting from strong organization and effective positioning across the pitch.

Baniyas translated their dominance in the first half by opening the scoring in the 19th minute through Youssouf Niakaté, who finished off a well-built attacking move to give his side the lead.

The hosts continued their attacking pressure and doubled their advantage in the 30th minute when Modibo Camara capitalized on a precise cross, heading the ball into the net.
