Today, the introductory press conference was held for the Baniyas match against Al Bataeh for the twenty-third round of the ADNOC Professional League, in the presence of coach Dakko Milanic and player Prestige Mbongo.
The coach spoke at the beginning of his speech about the pressure of matches and the lack of time to prepare for the next match, and pointed out that we must recover quickly to prepare for the next match against Al-Bataeh.
He spoke about the Al-Bataeh team and noted: “It will be a match against a strong and offensive opponent that relies a lot on quick rebounds and possession of the ball.”
He added: "We previously played against them in the first round, and we witnessed rebounding balls that made the match difficult for us, so we must prepare well for this match."
He continued: "In previous matches against the big teams, we performed well, but we failed to score points due to wasting opportunities in front of the goal or even conceding goals due to simple defensive errors. Therefore, we want to find solutions to these problems so that we can score points in the upcoming matches."
He added: "In previous matches, we always conceded a goal and were behind in the result, which requires additional effort to return to the match and achieve points."
As for the readiness of Baniyas, the coach indicated that so far there are no problems in the team except for the continued absence of Hussein Abbas. Other than that, everyone is ready and available to participate in the next match.”
Prestige player Mbongo also spoke, who expressed his happiness at playing for the Baniyas team. He explained that the team works as one family and he feels that he has begun to suffer with the group little by little, and the fruits of that pain came with the first goals in the previous match.”
Prestige also explained that the team is facing a difficult match against a stubborn opponent and is playing beautiful and good football, and the team must be fully focused throughout the match so that we can score full points on our field.
