Isaila: A difficult match against a team with quality and experience

Bani Yas Club held a press conference to introduce its upcoming match against Al Nasr, in the fifteenth round of the ADNOC Pro League, in the presence of head coach Daniel Isaila and team player Arnaud Lusamba.

Daniel Isaila, Bani Yas coach, confirmed that his team faces a big challenge against Al Nasr, praising the quality of the opposing team's players and the experience of its coach. He said:

"We will play at home against Al Nasr, which is a very good team, with a high quality of players, and I like their way of playing. They have quality and speed and play well between the lines, so we know that the match will not be easy."

The coach pointed to the development that the team has been going through recently, stressing that confidence has become present among the players, and added:

"We are now developing, and we have a strong personality, and we have begun to have more confidence in ourselves. When you achieve victories, confidence grows in everyone, whether the players, the technical staff, or even the fans and management. We are fully prepared for this important match."

Issila also explained that the team will miss the services of player Fahad Bader due to the injury he sustained during the last reserve match, but he confirmed the readiness of the rest of the players to play the match.

Lusamba: We have improved defensively and our confidence is high

For his part, Arnaud Lusamba stressed his respect for the Al-Nasr team, considering that Bani Yas has become more solid defensively, and said:

“Al-Nasr is a respectable and big team, but we have shown a clear improvement in the defensive aspect. Even when we concede a goal, the team does not collapse, but rather we try to quickly return to the match. When you do not concede many goals, this means that you are able to return and score goals.”

Lusamba stressed that playing on Bani Yas Stadium and among its fans represents an additional incentive to achieve a positive result, adding:

“We have high confidence in the team, especially since we will be playing in front of our fans, which gives us an additional incentive to come out with a positive result.”

Regarding the changes that have occurred in the team under the leadership of coach Issila, the player explained that the improvement came from a mental and intellectual perspective, as he said: “We are the same players, but our morale and the team’s mentality have changed, and we no longer concede as many goals as before, which is something we were missing.”
