This evening, the introductory press conference for the Baniyas match against Ajman FC was held for the 18th round of the ADNOC Professional League, which will be held at Ajman Stadium. The press conference was attended by coach Daniel Isila and player Khaled Al-Attas.
The coach started the conference by saying: "We will face one of the best teams who are performing excellently in the recent period, and they have some assignments that changed the team's shape, so it will be a big and difficult match.
And he added, "On the other hand, Baniyas is coming from a good rest period after a period of pressure from matches in the previous period, so I am sure that we will play a great match and we will aspire to get the three points."
As for the first round match, the coach commented: "A lot of things have changed from the first match, whether on our team or even the Ajman team, where Bani Yas has now gone deeper into the atmosphere of competition and is ready for this confrontation."
Speaking of Bani Yas always making a great performance outside his stadium, the coach indicated: "It does not matter if the match is outside or on our land, all matches answer you not to make mistakes to the opponent and to take advantage of all opportunities to score."
He added: "What differs in Baniyas this season from last season, we used to take advantage of half opportunities to score goals, but this season we need five or six chances to score a goal, as well as in the defense line. We are now receiving goals from the least chances."
He continued: "Also, this season, we suffer a lot from long injuries, and this did not happen much last season, which affected the level of the team in important matches."
And about the danger of the Ajman team: "We have to play with a defensive organization and not make mistakes and focus throughout the meeting and not give Ajman players to play comfortably in the front line.
As for the team's absence, the coach confirmed the continuity of Ahmed Shehda's absence due to injury, and Abdullah Al Balushi will also be absent due to injury, except that everyone is ready for this match.
Khaled Al-Attas also spoke, who expected that it would be a big match against Ajman, and it would be a popular match, and this would make the match more exciting and Bani Yas as a team ready for this match.
Al-Attas said: "We know that Ajman is going through a good stage and is playing fun football. We take all these things into consideration, but we are also ready and we will strive to win this match.
As for the goals of Baniyas this season, Al-Attas explained: "I am confident that Baniyas will seek to enter every match with the aim of winning and achieving the largest number of points until the end of the season."
As for the participation of Baniyas in the Asian Championship, Al-Attas commented: We have an important play-off match against the Uzbek Nasaf. We will give everything we have in this match with the aim of crossing and reaching the group stage.”
