This evening, the introductory press conference for the Bani Yas match against Al Wasl was held for the 14th round of the ADNOC Professional League, which will be held at Zabeel Stadium. The press conference was attended by coach Daniel Isila and player Sasha.
The coach initiated the conference and congratulated the UAE and the capital, Abu Dhabi, for the upcoming event, which is hosting the FIFA Club World Cup, and urged everyone to participate and attend in these matches as it is a unique opportunity to enjoy this tournament.
While he talked about facing Al-Wasl, describing it as a difficult match that comes in the midst of a tight schedule in the matches, we have previously faced Al-Wasl several times this season in which we were unable to win, but we will seek to change the image in this match.
He added, "The team has developed significantly in the previous period, and we worked well during the downtime, so our goal is to get a positive result."
He continued: "We must not repeat the mistakes that occurred in the previous matches against Al Wasl, as in the league match we conceded a goal in the last seconds of the match, which cost us match points, so we must take advantage of our mistakes.
As for the team's readiness, the coach explained that the team suffers from several absences, namely Ahmed Shehda due to injury, as well as doubts about the participation of Suhail Al-Nubi, who was suffering from a health problem that prevented him from training, in addition to the absence of Joao Victor due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
As for the winter transfer market, the coach commented: We were unable to enter the transfer market, and now we have to work with the group we have and work harder to compete for all championships.
The player Sasha also spoke, who confirmed the coach's words that it was a difficult match against a stubborn team, but the team prepared well for this match and we still have two days of work to prepare in the best way for this confrontation.
As for the development of the team's form in the previous period, Sasha explained that the team seemed to be more homogeneous than it was at the beginning of the season, so we began to show our true level and we will work to continue this image and develop in performance.
