In the presence of His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Club, the President’s Cup Fencing Championship was inaugurated, which is scheduled to be held in the Baniyas Sports Club Hall on the 21st and 22nd of this April.

H.E. Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, Secretary General of the Fencing Federation, Suhail Al Ameri, Chairman of Baniyas Club for Sports Games, and Muhammad Ghanem Al Mansouri, Board Member of the Club, and Hamda Al Qubaisi Board Members of the Club as well as a group of game officials in the Federation and the Club were also present.

The brilliant player from Baniyas Club, Khalifa Suhail Al Abri, won first place in the Saber Corps over his opponent Manad Ghazi from Sharjah Club, with a score of 15-14, Ali Al Hammadi from Baniyas Club won third place, and Hamed Al Mazmi came fourth from Sharjah Club.

As for the Epee weapon category, the players' ranking came first, with Alaa Al-Sayed from Sharjah Club, who was succeeded by his successor Al-Zarouni, Abdullah Al-Hammadi from Baniyas Club, and finally Abdul Rahim Ibrahim from MKFA.

Finally, the players' positions in the Fluoroscopic Corps came as follows, as Alaa Al-Din Abu Al-Qasim from Sharjah Club won first place, then Hamad Al-Jallaf from Baniyas, then Muhammad Abdul Nazer from Sharjah, and finally Muhammad Al-Sayegh from Fujairah Club.

It is also worth noting that today, Thursday, the tournament will be concluded with the participation of women in fencing, as the first day is dedicated to the fencing men.
