Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and President of Baniyas Sports and Cultural Club, issued a decision to restructure the Board of Directors of Baniyas Club and the boards of directors of its affiliated companies, with the aim of ensuring the promotion of the club's march crowned with sports achievements, through a set of strategies, and plans, programs and policies that work to raise the club’s competitive capabilities to remain a cultural, sports and community torch that enhances the UAE sport’s march and provides the national teams with qualified elements capable of continuing Emirati excellence in all Arab and international sports forums.

This also comes within the efforts to develop the efficiency of the club’s institutional performance and improve it by enhancing it with leadership experiences in public and sports work, which support the club’s march and push it to achieve more qualitative achievements in the fields of sports excellence, as well as enhance its civilized, cultural and societal role in serving the region and the social environment as well as applying International best practices in the work system to sustain the path of leadership and excellence.

His Highness issued a decision to restructure the Board of Directors of Baniyas Sports and Cultural Club, headed by Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Brigadier General Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi as Vice President, and the membership of Humaid Muhammad Bolahj Al Rumaithi, Muhammad Saeed Abbad Al Hamli, Sinan Ahmad Muhammad Al Muhairi, and Colonel Yasser Muhammad Al Nuaimi. And Colonel Ahmed Mohammed Buharon Al Shamsi.

His Highness also issued a decision to form the boards of directors of the club's companies, to include the Board of Directors of Baniyas Football Club Company, Sinan Ahmed Mohammed Al Muhairi as Chairman, Abdullah Ali Al Junaibi as Vice Chairman, and the membership of Ahmed Saeed Ibrahim Al Marzouqi, Saleh Ismail Al Hammadi and Muhammad Ali Al Junaibi. While the Board of Directors of Baniyas Sports Club Company will include Humaid Muhammad Bolahj Al Rumaithi as Chairman, Nasser Khamis Al Muhairbi as Vice Chairman, and the membership of Ibrahim Jamil Al Hosani, Hamda Khadem Hamel Al Qubaisi, and Obaid Khamis Ali Al Kaabi.

His Highness extended his thanks and appreciation to the previous boards of directors for their efforts and achievements during the past period, calling on the new boards to move forward in strengthening work to achieve the club's vision and goals and its societal message, according to a distinguished system and in cooperation and complementary coordination with all clubs and sports and cultural institutions in the country.
