In the presence of His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, The Baniyas International Junior Championships was inaugurated in Al Shamkha, in the presence of team representatives and a large number of Arab fans and communities who came to support the participating teams.

Also from Baniyas Club were His Excellency Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and His Excellency Ahmed Buharoun, a member of the Board of Directors of the club, where the opening witnessed the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the UAE national anthem was played by the band, then delegations of the participating teams were received, and finally the arrival of the masses who interacted with The opening was well attended.
