Baniyas hosts Hatta for 4th round of Arabian Gulf League at Baniyas Club Stadium which was ended by defeat for Baniyas by result of 2-3 for Hatta after converting their defeat to a victory in the last minutes of the match.
The game started with priority for Baniyas, who in turn sought to get out of the cycle of negative results to write down the first goal of the game through the new player Daniel Hernandez in the 16th minute after a great shot from outside the penalty area. Hatta did not wait too much only one minute to amend the score by player Samuel in the 17th minute.
It was clear that Baniyas entered the game in order to get out of the three points where they score a goal in the 20th minute through penalty caused by Colombian Daniel Hernandez and translated successfully by the Argentine Larrivey makes for Baniyas to lead in the result.
In the second half nothing changed, Baniyas attacking and creating a chance to score but they missed the goal, one of them was a great shot from Daniel Hernandez flew past the target.
Hatta took the advantage of missing the chance and score the equalizing goal from a penalty kick successfully translated by the player Samuel to make the result 2-2 at 47th minute.
In the last minutes and before the whistle of the referee Hatta shocked everyone by scoring the winning goal at 92nd minutes to get the three point of the match.
After the match immediately Baniyas Club appointed the coach José Manuel Gomes as a new head coach for the first team to take the lead from tomorrow in preparing for the next match against Al Jazira at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.
