Abdul Wahab: “Players prepared well for this match”


Held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 the press conference before the match between Baniyas and Al Wahda for the 21st round of Arabian Gulf League, which will be held on Thursday at Al Nahyan Stadium. The press attended by the coach, Mr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir and the Captain Youssef Jaber in the presence of a number of local newspapers.

Coach began his speech by talking about the game, describing that Al Wahda team competes at advanced positions in the league and they are playing at AFC Champions League and has the distinctive el
ements and a good bench elements but stressed that Baniyas team aspires to get out a positive result against Al Wahda.

He also added, “We have the shortcomings of either injuries or absences, but everyone feels the responsibility entrusted to them and they proved this thing in the last match against Al Wasl, where the team managed to get back in the game and created chances but they were unlucky by getting out with a positive result.”

As for the absences of Baniyas the coach has pointed to the absence of Suhail Al Noubi for suspension due to accumulation of yellow cards and the continued absence of Jean Mendy and Mubarak Al Mansouri due to injury.

He also said, “We know very well the possibilities of Al Wahda and we prepared the team well for this match and we know the right way to play in front of them.” He also stressed “that in football there is a difficult thing when you make your duties to the fullest.”

And for stop period after this match Abdulwahab has confirmed that there is a special program for a period of downtime, which includes a camp of the team and three friendly matches as well as training morning and evening to prepare the team in a best way possible for next period which will be crucial and important in the journey of the team in the league.

As well as the conference attended by the player Youssef Jaber, who said for his part that the preparations were good throughout the week for an important game also pointed out that the team excellently led in the previous match against Al Wasl, but they are not unlucky to go out with a positive result.

Yousef added “in our league it is hard to predict the results of matches every round witnessing surprising results for everyone and we hope that we can get out a positive result from in front of Al Wahda at their field.”
