At the press conference after the match between Baniyas and Al Wahda for the 21 round of Arabian Gulf League, which ended with a loss for Baniyas, the coach Mr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir talked about this loss, describing that his team did not enter the high-concentration at the beginning of the game which resulted in receiving four goals in the first 20 minutes of Meeting.
He added “We entered the meeting as if we were in a coma, where he committed the players a lot, especially in the midfield because most of the errors were due to poor concentration which is exploited by Al Wahda and scored so many goals at the beginning of the meeting, and also the red card for the player Mark Milligan who argue with the referee which made Baniyas play the match with 10 players.
“Baniyas for the first time to play at this time (8:30 PM), as most of the previous games was the first game, but this game was the second game which affected in one way or another on the performance of the players at the beginning of the game.”
He explained, “We will try to address the mistakes that we have happened today in the coming days and we hope to compensate in the remaining games of the season through downtime and that we shall restore all the injured players,” he added, “there are still 15 points available and we will try to make the largest possible number of points to stay in the league.”
He also spoke about the team program during the next break, where he explained that the team will enter in an internal camp for two weeks, which will include morning and evening training sessions in addition to the three friendly matches to prepare the best possible shape for the next five league games which will determine officially the possibility of the team in staying in the Pro League this season.
