Unlucky game for Baniyas against Al Nasr


Baniyaas draw with Al Nasr in the match that was held for the 24th round of the Arabian Gulf League at Al Maktoum Stadium today Friday, 29 April. Baniyas failed to maintain his lead while in the last minutes of the match Al Nasr scored the equalizing goal to end the match with result of 2-2.

In the first half, Al-Samawi managed to control the match by stopping Al Nasr from creating a chances on goal. Al-Samawi suffered a painful blow through the injury of goalkeeper Ahmed Dida to get out injured and Sultan Sultan Musbah substitute him in the 37th minute. Before the end of the first half with few minutes Jassim Yaqoub scored the first goal of Al Nasr at 47 minutes to end the first half with leading for Al Nasr.

In the second half Baniyas entered the game with the goal of turning the table and returning to the game where Harry Novillo scored the equalizer in the second minute of the second half. Baniyas seemed clear that they intended to turn the table by creating many opportunities for scoring. In the 69th minute, Henty scored the leading goal for Baniyas after a superb header that caught goalkeeper Shambeh announcing the leading of Baniyas with two goals.

Before the end of the game, Al-Nasr managed to score a goal by Abdulaziz Barrada in the 83rd minute after a powerful shot from outside the area over goalkeeper Sultan Musabah.

Al-Samawi after this goal presented to the front seeking to win the game, which was the last hope for the team but the bad luck needed to the team until the end of the game where there were two chances of scoring the firstly was a powerful shot from Harry Novillo the goalkeeper clear it to corner and the second a real chance for Yousef Jaber who missed the goal to end the match with a 2-2 draw.
