Baniyas Club held a press conference in preparation for its upcoming match against Shabab Al Ahli in the third round of the ADNOC Pro League, attended by the team's coach, Ivaylo Petev, and player, Saviour Godwin.

Coach Ivaylo Petev confirmed that his team is preparing for a tough match against Shabab Al Ahli, noting that their opponent is one of the league's best, known for their teamwork and beautiful football. He added:
"We have to make the match difficult for them, not let them play comfortably, and put on a great performance worthy of Bani Yas' name."

Referring to the team's previous match, Petev said:
"We were the better team in the two matches against Khorfakkan, but we were not lucky enough to qualify. We feel sorry for that, and now we have to focus on what's next and be fully prepared and focused."

The coach also explained that the team is suffering from some absences due to injuries, but he stressed that most of the players are ready for the match, adding:
"What we lack is scoring goals. We need to be more aggressive in front of goal, and with a little luck, we will reap positive results."

Godwin: We seek to give our all and achieve a positive result

For his part, Nigerian striker Savior Godwin emphasized the difficulty of the match, saying:
"We will face a strong and difficult team, but we want to give our all in this match and achieve a positive result."

Godwinadded:
"Football goes through difficult times. You can give your all but luck doesn't favor you. We have to work harder and keep trying, and the goals will surely come soon."
