Baniyas succeeded in achieving victory over Hatta in the match that was held at Al Shamkha Stadium for the 21st round of the ADNOC Professional League, which was held this Friday evening.
Al-Samawi entered the match with a squad that included Fahad Al-Dhanhani, Sasa, Khamis Al-Mansouri, Khamis Al-Hammadi, Joao Victor, Gaston Suarez, Fawaz Awana, Ahmed Shehdeh, Suhail Al-Noubi, Taulant Seferi, and Youssef Niakaté.
The first half witnessed many attacks that lacked the final touch in front of the goal from both teams. The goalkeepers also succeeded in stopping many scoring opportunities, and before the end of the first half, Baniyas was able to score the lead goal through Taulant Seferi in the 45th + 1 minute of the half. The first, but a quick response came quickly, as Hatta was able to score the equalizing goal after only one minute, ending the first half in a positive 1-1 draw.
At the beginning of the second half, Baniyas entered the match in a strong manner and was able to score the lead goal again through Taulant Seferi in the 51st minute after an assist from his colleague Ahmed Shehda, but with a scenario similar to the first half, Hatta was able to score the equalizer after only two minutes, bringing the match back to the starting point.
The hosts intensified their attacks and succeeded in scoring the lead goal again through team captain Fawaz Awana in the 65th minute after he skillfully put the ball past the visitors. A few minutes later, at the 69th minute, Gaston Suarez succeeded in scoring the fourth goal, securing the full three points for Al-Samawi, and the match ended with Al-Samawi winning 4-2.
With this victory, Baniyas raised its score to 22 points, in ninth place in the ranking table.
